I'm surprised that the Philippines is the least guessed answer. All of the Filipinos I know are devout Catholics.

Thanks for catching that. I guess everyone puts "UK" so it's gotten missed until now.

Nice quiz, i'm just confused why China, at least according to the source page, has a population of 397 millions...

Ya, India's population of more than a billion people is correctly listed, yet China's is way off.

I guessed belgium a second too late. Tip: A lot of these countries might not be catholic but have a lot of missions, like protestants and stuff.

Many of those small, impious European countries were at one time very religious, and were Christian for many centuries longer than the US or Latin America were. Many if not most of their parishes date from those earlier eras.

Macau, Hong Kong, and ports throughout China's southeast inherited a sizable cultural influence from colonial empires, including Catholic Portugal. Also, Christianity and Islam have made surprising inroads in mainland China over the past 20-odd years as the CCP has slowly relaxed its futile anti-religion policies.

Although the percentage of Catholics in India and China may seem small, given those country's immense populations there are enough Catholic churches for them to qualify on this list.

I'm from the Philippines and I'm not surprised that it's one of the least guessed answers. More and more Filipinos are converting to other religions or just turning irreligious because the local Catholic Church doesn't know what secularism is. They have prevented progress from happening and are still doing so until now. The Philippines is also the only country in the world without divorce mainly because our politicians are afraid of getting "excommunicated" if they dare say that they support it.
