Superman and Batman were not present in The Brave and the Bold #28. They were made "honorary founding members" (or ret-conned in, depending on the exact point of DC's fluctuating continuity you look at) in a later issue.

Hmmm... According to the summaries I found (http://comicbookdb.com/issue.php?ID=11725 and http://www.comicvine.com/the-brave-and-the-bold-starro-the-conqueror/37-4699/) they do indeed appear as members in the last few panels. But I certainly forgot to add Snapper Carr as a bonus!

Glad you're sticking with the contemporaneous names, so Robin yes, Nightwing no. Invisible Girl yes, Invisible Woman no. Marvel Girl yes, Phoenix no. Kid Flash does NOT also count for Flash.

So thankful I'm not the only one blanking on the original JSA members (although I did get the current least guessed, woo woo!) I like that you have bonuses there for the people that joined during original All-Star.

@rockgolf: Thanks. Though, to be fair, I was accepting Invisible Woman (I just removed it for consistency), and I'll continue to accept Giant-Man since he appeared as such as early as issue 2.

I named every one of the Marvel characters but missed a bunch of DC ones including the Flash. I guess I was a real Marvel Zombie!

I guess I'm not the only one who doesn't know the Justice Society well... I should read up!

Brave and the Bold #54 is generally considered the first Teen Titans appearance, although they were called the Junior Justice League and Wonder Girl was not a member.

If memory serves, the original Red Tornado (Ma Hunkel) made an appearance at the first JSA meeting. She quickly fled because while climbing in via the fire escape, she tore the seat of her pants

@ Etheridge: Those two reasons are why I specifically chose #60. I felt it would have been silly to have a three-member team, especially if they weren't using the right name.
@Tom: Now I very much wish I could go back and add her as a bonus.
