	It would be good if you either put in the instructions that you need to put in both countries separated by an "and", or just accept countries when input by themselves. Also, isn't Cyprus shared with Turkey?

	Huh, Cyprus is shared with the UK? That's news to me. If you're going to say that an island is shared just because another country's base is there, then you need to do Cuba, Diego Garcia, etc.

	@goldenboy100: you don't need the "and". Sporcle ignores "and" and "the" in all quizzes. try it and see... and Northern (Turkish) Cyprus isn't a Sporcle-recognised country, so Cyprus technically doesn't border Turkey at all. I don't want to open a can of worms by opposing Sporcle policy.

	@folio1701 and @PJPJO: Guantanamo Bay Naval Base is on land leased from Cuba, whereas the 'Sovereign Base Areas' in Cyprus are areas where the United Kingdom is sovereign.

	As far as I know...Turkey claims the northern half of Cyprus, often referred to as "Northern Cyprus". However, I have never heard of Cyprus sharing its island with the UK.

	Sorry - Koopa08, but Turkey does not claim the northern half of Cyprus. Northern Cyprus claims it is independent from the rest of Cyprus, a claim recognized by no one but the Turks. It is the Turkish support which has enabled Northern Cyprus to remain quasi independent, but it is not Turkey claiming Cyprus. There are two Naval bases in Cyprus which are sovereign British territory, hence the basis of the author's quiz.
