| alright, jackass lukejameslarson. i challenge you to a real debate. i bet you know nothing about baseball, let alone judging a quiz. this is opinionated, ill give you that, but its my opinions. if you disagree with them, you can do so in a calm manner. im gonna start with the obvious andruw jones. over his 15 year career, he has established himself as one of the best fielders ever. throw out the last two years and you'd be saying he's a lock anyday. he's got 350 homers, and was a 5-tool player (average for a few years). ortiz is only a maybe for now, because he's hitting the tail end of his career and only did what he's doing for 5 years. he's only a maybe for now. sheffield's not a lock because he's been found guilty of peds. that's why he's a maybe, and same with giambi. zito's a maybe because he's had a solid career overall. beckett's only played 7 years. fine, make your own quiz and make him a maybe. i wouldnt disagree with that. take ADAM DUNN off? ARe you insane? he's hit 40+ homers 5 seasons, and he's only 30 years old. he's got almost as many homers as Pujols, if not more. matt holliday proved you that he can do it outside of coors, and he's a maybe for now. juan pierre will be on the ballot as long as raines is on the ballot. cabrera's only played 7 years, and again put him on the list if you want. i wouldnt meddle with that. yaddy molina is sooooooooo underrated. he's the best defensive catcher in the league and is starting to hit also. nomar is a maybe, i agree, and tejada is a maybe as well. same with garret anderson. i agree. but don't goddamn call it a poor quiz if you can't substantiate it. besides the ones i forgot, my players are substantiated with stats and experience. the only ones ill put on are nomar, garret anderson, miguel cabrera, josh beckett and others if you can provide evidence. |
