I love them too. I always heard "woos" as "moves", or would have gotten 100%.

I'm glad you enjoy them! I've reached my quiz-publishing limit for the month, but I already have the next sets ready for June and July.

The picture on the front page of George Harrison was a dead giveaway. Excellent song, by the way.

Got the song with about 3 minutes left and spent the last 2 trying fruitlessly to come up with "things". At least I wasn't alone.

I agree that George's picture was a sheer giveaway just because most people recognize this song as one of his greatests

Again, a Beatles Lyrics quiz ? Does Sporcle only knows The Beatles ? There're great nay beyond greatness, but come on ! Again ? What about a little MJ or Elvis for a change ? Or maybe that's beacause their songs contain more than 200 words.

On these Beatles quizzes I always try certain words first like "walrus", "love", "helter", "blackbird", "yesterday", and "something" to eliminate certain songs right away. This time I got lucky and guessed it early.

I tried "love" first since it's a theme of so many of their songs. Once I figured out that the song was "Something" I was astonished that "love" generated no results.

I think Frank Sinatra said this was the best love song he ever heard. High praise indeed. I got them all except "woos." I always thought they repeated "moves" there but with a different meaning...physical the first time "something in the way she moves" and emotional the second time "something in the way she moves me." I'm disappointed to learn that I've apparently been hearing it wrong all these years.

I found this pretty tricky! Until, of course, I saw the answer and instantly recognized the song. I was glad, at least, that many of the words were common words- that way we have something to work with. Nice job!

I can't believe I didn't get this song, after around five minutes of pondering "and all I have to do is think of her". Well played.

@moviegoer74: I think Sinatra also said it was his favorite Lennon/McCartney song, not realizing it was George! :) I never realized the lyric was "something in the way she woos me"; always thought it was "... moves me." Embarrassed that I hadn't known before, as this is one of my favorite tracks on my favorite Beatles album...

I'm surprised by the even distribution of the percentiles. Usually on these you expect two sharp peaks. I guess enough of the lyrics were simple words, so enough people could make it far without getting the song. Just goes to show how much Harrison could do with seemingly simple lyrics. One of the best songs of all time.

This is the best, most articulate lovesong I've ever heard describing that mysterious "something" that makes us want to stay with someone, without ever calling it love. Thanks, fl88.

What a great idea for a quiz. I got 112, which I was fairly happy with. It's amazing the odd words here and there that are hard to remember
