This made me think of that song about dangerous animals in Australia. Now I can't get it out of my head. Damn it!

The link you gave begins "htttp". The fatalities column should say "per year". I was suprised not to see dogs, spiders or bees. Also other vectors of disease, like rats or bats.

The link you gave does not lead to any information, and I know for a fact that the yearly shark death total is typically less than ten; in 2007, there were 70 or so shark attacks, but only one fatality. More people die from animals such as deer and cows than from sharks, so I find everything on your list highly suspect.

Agree w/ catharine. I tried bees, spiders, dogs, etc... many people die each year from these animals... particularly due to allergic reactions from bees, spiders and other arthropods.

I'd be shocked if not more than ten people per year were killed in riding accidents.

I don't consider mosquito true as it is the diseases they caryy that induce death rather then the creature itself. I would, however, like to se humans as answer...probably number 1

to be specific, i tired wasp, black widow, and wolf. since when do hippos, elephants, and jelly fish kill people! i wont argue with mosqitos, cause kids in africa die all the time from them,

I heard hippos killed more people in Africa than big cats and crocs combined. So don't pet them.

I did this quiz using this list right after user created quizzes became available, but had to pull it after it became obvious that the list was deeply flawed.

I'm surprised that dogs haven't made the list!

Like most other people who've commented, the lack of "dog" is very surprising to me. In Canada, all pets have a "one chance to bite" rule before they're put down except big dogs. If your Doberman or Pittbull attacks someone it's considered assault with a deadly weapon.

I'm suprised not to see dogs, horses or cattle on this list, unless the quiz is only for deaths due to wild animals.
