| @confused: not a math genius, not really trial and error either. I use a map to figure out the minimum and maximum entries, then use the quiz to test them out to see that they cover all the non-island countries. I guess maybe that is trial and error, but I rarely have to play the quiz more than 3 or 4 times. In this case only had to play the quiz once because from the minimum/maximum perspective this is the same quiz as the border country blitz (but entering capitals as proxies for countries). The minimum is an easier number to arrive at because the sequence of entries is only marginally important. I'm pretty confident 33 is as low as you can go. The maximum number is much more difficult to arrive at because sequence is crucial. I'm not at all confident 105 is the maximum, it's just the most I was able to do. |
