Ruhr is not a city. It's an area. It is comprised of about 12 cities in Germany, for example Cologne, Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Leverkusen, Duesseldorf, Duisburg etc.

Pretty stupid of me to not include Riyadh. I will change that. Ruhr, while I do not like it either, is an accepted Sporcle answer. Thanks for the feedback

Don't you metro area's in stead of cities? Rotterdam doesn't even have half that population and Raleigh has about 350,000 afaik from the US city quiz on Sporcle.
