I had no idea the Amazon didn't have a delta to speak of. Turns out the tidal bore from the Atlantic carries away all the silt deposited by the mighty river.

I did have a source, but it didn't put it up for some reason. It was my physical geography textbook, so it didn't have a link to post, so maybe that was the problem. And yes, the Amazon is the largest deltaless river.
