| I agree with dtro. I can remember the time when all of the buzz and mania was about Oakland's lefty, Vida Blue. 1971 MVP in just his first full season in the majors (24-8 record, .182 ERA, and 301 K's). Unfortunately, he could not maintain that dominance. While being effective at times, he never reached even 200 K's again, which makes him the answer to an interesting trivia question. |
