	This is a fine quiz and all, but top left handed pitchers what? Number of wins, strikeouts, years pitched? It's just a guessing game. If it's just guys that are good, Andy Pettitte comes to mind. So does Fernando Valenzuela.

	I think it's more guys that are historically good, not people who inspired a two year mania or pitched for abunch of stacked yankees teams. It's not that hard to figure out.

	the bleacher report isnt a source. its just a blog that anyone can submit to. if youre going to make a quiz based on someones rankings try to find a reputable source. surely espn or sports illustrated has done a similar list at some point

	I'd put Babe Ruth on the list. But I agree its a crappy source.

	It may not be the best source, but the list is fine. Pettitte and Valenzuela are nowhere near the quality of the guys listed, except for maybe John. Left Gomez was someone I thought of, but this is a fine list. I'd rank them differently, but it's hard to find someone not on the list that should be.

	John won 288 games or thereabouts. Maybe he doesn't belong, but it isn't "comical." He and Kaat are interchangeable.

	I hope that's not in order. Koufax was great but his longevity is way too low to even be considered top 5. And Tommy John?

	I agree with dtro. I can remember the time when all of the buzz and mania was about Oakland's lefty, Vida Blue. 1971 MVP in just his first full season in the majors (24-8 record, .182 ERA, and 301 K's). Unfortunately, he could not maintain that dominance. While being effective at times, he never reached even 200 K's again, which makes him the answer to an interesting trivia question.
