	New York City metro does not include PA, but it does include a little of CT.

	The Metropolitan Statistical Area, as designated by the US Census, does not include CT. The CSA (Consolidated) does. That part of CT is included in the Bridgeport MSA.

	Why is West Virginia designated as Northeast. I think the Census considers it the South. Then again, the Census i think still considers Maryland the South.

	@erikjc: OK...wasn't fully sure about CT, but PA is definitely not in the NY metro area, but you have it listed in your hint.

	@midnightdj "Definitely" is a strong word especially considering the fact that Pike County, Pennsylvania is part of the NYC metro area. That is all.

	@Manitopiaaa I based this region (and the regions for my 3 other quizzes) based on my experience rather than Census designation. Maryland and West Virginia are culturally difficult to place, but due to their proximity to large northern cities (and WV being part of the DC metro, which is not a southern city whatsoever), I placed them in the northeast. I feel that MD and DE go together, as I am from that area. Categorizing DE as northeast and MD as southeast makes no sense to me.

	Your source is kind of vague as to what constitutes the NY metro area...there seem to be several different descriptions of it in the article. Some of them include Pike Cty; others don't. I live in the NY metro area and residents here would pretty much all consider the Fairfield Co, CT to be part of the NY metro area, but no one would consider Pike Co., PA to be part of it. I still submit thta if you want to include PA as part of the NY metro area it makes no sense at all to exclude CT. Far more people commute from CT into NYC than from anywhere in PA. That is all.
