	im really surprised alaska isnt on the list... i guess even if there is only 1 african american there it still counts as about 10% of the population

	The census says the black population in Alaska is 4.3%. Not surprising; I've been there; it's not all white.

	@BRM: Delaware is a wonderful place!! And as someone who is originally from Delaware, I'm not surprised by this statistic at all; there's plenty of them in Wilmington, and Delaware State University is a primarily black school.

	@Max Canning: The Jazz are actually one of the whitest teams in the NBA, with six white players (Kirilenko, Fesenko, Korver, Okur, Koufos, and Harpring). They are only topped in that regard by the Indiana Pacers, who boast six white American players (Foster, Diener, Hansbrough, Murphy, McRoberts, and Dunleavy). Probably has something to do with the fact that Larry Bird is the Pacers' GM.

	Hey, now, Masternachos is NOT racist! My first post was a joke, one of subtle humour, with a 'u.' I'd explain it, but then the joke would be dead. Aw heck, it's dead anyway. 'Make casual remark that sounds racist. Realise the racism. Be flustered, and try to recover dignity. Give up, and just say I'll move to a very black state to try and cover it up.' That's my humor, it's not for everyone; I love black people!

	Re Delaware: it's small, and as part of the Delmarva penninsula, it is essentially the southernmost northern state (underground railroad implications).

	@treemeister2, you're 100% right! I demand a quiz that shows the states in the WORLD that have the most african-americans, not just those in the US! (I bet the "fewest" portion of that quiz would be crazy hard...)
