| @deej: this comes from the fact that "a, and, the not needed" was ticked on this quiz (so that "Nits" would be sufficient for "The Nits", if they were on). Since these letter combos (especially the "a") exist in many words like wAter, bAND, eTHEr, THEy, ..., where they of course should be needed, they always have to be separated by spaces to be acceptable, so always "the nits", never "thenits" - or leave them out altogether. As in "nits". |
