bangers and mash (not sausages mashed potato and gravy)? Steak and Kidney? I've never met anyone in the uk who eats Peanut butter and banana (maybe USA?!?) and strawberries and cream are far more traditional, ditto pears and wine.

What about pie and peas? Ham and mustard? Bread and butter? A good idea but you've mixed up some traditional combos with some too obscure.
