Pierce? Arthur? And please accept last names instead of typing the full name.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 04:34 GMT
I agree with leppyfresh. I like the idea of this quiz, but it needs work.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 04:54 GMT
I agree, also.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 05:52 GMT
Need to research a bit more...last names only please.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 05:58 GMT
I quit right away as soon as my first answer of Bush wasn't accepted. Gotta accept last names only.

mckinley also missing
Jun 27th, 2010 at 06:53 GMT
mckinley is not missing.....seriously, realize what your fingers just did. To parrot the others, last names should be the standard. YOu have arbitrarily chosen to require some middle initials, and others are not needed. At the same time, William Howard Taft is not accepted, just William Taft, when I've only heard him referred to by his three names. Seems random, and hard to guess what form you happen to be requesting.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 07:12 GMT
you hav to accept last names only to make this a good quiz also limelight05 mckinley has an n in it
Jun 27th, 2010 at 12:13 GMT
I find it funny we have to type in first names and then several of the first names have an n in them. It isn't taking Teddy Roosevelt, just Theodore. Quit in the middle when I got tired of typing in first names, especially the full names of the Bushes and Adamses.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 15:03 GMT
I agree with everyone else. You definitely have to accept last names and include every president who does not have an 'n' in their last name. Also, it was ridiculous that for some presidents like polk, you had to also type the middle initial.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 15:15 GMT
Listen, you really need to have last names only. Like, REALLY need to.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 15:50 GMT
This is patently ridiculous. I quit after the only accepted variant on Bush Sr's name I could make work was "George HW Bush." Accept last names only, as the myriad people before me have asked.

Please take "How to Make a Bad Sporcle Quiz" and concentrate on the first question

When I typed in Adams as my first guess and nothing popped up I instantly quit.

@Nacarro2814 Well put

I first typed in Taft and thought to myself "It's not coming up, is there a secret hidden N in that name?" Then I realized this quiz sucks and you didn't select to accept last names only. Quiz fail.
Jun 27th, 2010 at 21:35 GMT
I spent forever trying to type in Chester Arthur... Please make last names only acceptable! Also, its extremely annoying that not only must one type in the first name and last name, for some you need a middle initial also--and only a middle initial! Franklin Delano Roosevelt is not accepted, only Franklin D Roosevelt
Jun 27th, 2010 at 21:53 GMT
pierce and arthur
Jun 27th, 2010 at 22:08 GMT
I can't decide who failed more here....the creator of the quiz, or limelight for trying to say that mckiNley was left out! LOL.
Jun 28th, 2010 at 03:51 GMT
Pierce and Arthur? Epic fail
Jun 28th, 2010 at 18:11 GMT
Arbitrary middle initials? Come on, now.
Jun 28th, 2010 at 20:04 GMT
I quit this 1 minute in. Whats the deal with the middle initials? Also, last names please, this was terrible.
Jun 28th, 2010 at 20:57 GMT
I think (hope) limelight was trying to make a (bad) joke with his comment. If not, then he's a bigger failure than the quizmaker.
Jun 28th, 2010 at 22:35 GMT
This is a great quiz!!! For me to poop on.

Quit the quiz because you had to type first names? Seriously, how lazy are you people?
Jun 29th, 2010 at 03:50 GMT
You missed 2 presidents, Pierce and Arthur, I didn't give up because I was bored and curious to see how many you missed.
Jun 29th, 2010 at 14:10 GMT
On the other hand, William Howard Taft wasn't accepted.
Jun 30th, 2010 at 01:28 GMT
i kept trying to enter pierce and time ran out
Jun 30th, 2010 at 13:59 GMT
As if it wasn't bad enough that you don't accept last names by themselves, some names randomly require middle initials (Franklin D. Roosevelt versus Franklin Delano Roosevelt) while others require full middle names (John Quincy Adams vs. John Q. Adams). This is hands-down the most annoying quiz I've played.

I was wondering why the rating on this was so low until I read the comments. Obviously a much needed fix was made!
Jul 16th, 2010 at 22:03 GMT
Hi guys! I'm sorry that this quiz was poorly made, but I've made some changes.
Jul 24th, 2010 at 04:42 GMT
wtf? i dont even remember making that mckinley comment. i was either really high or drunk when i made it, or someone else logged in as me. idk
Jul 24th, 2010 at 19:42 GMT
