	good quiz. i like the idea that those movies before the academy awards shouldn't be listed, but it also works the way it is...it still wasn't technically nominated.

	Sunrise always gets shafted. I think it should at least have an asterisk next to it. That year (the first Oscar ceremony ever), there were two "Best Picture" winners, one for "Best Production," and one for "Best Unique and Artistic Production." Wings won the former, while Sunrise won the latter. The Academy subsequently merged the two awards, and for some bizarre reason they retroactively decided that Wings would get the honors.

	The previous commenter is right. Also, imo, Sunrise is the far superior movie. It's still interesting to watch today, whereas Wings is a total relic.
