	This is really a terrible list. The quiz is fine, but Ryan Howard was not even the best Phillies guy (Utley), let alone ahead of Berkman, Beltran, and Cabrera. And Fielder has no business on this list at all, least of all ahead of guys like Beltran and Abreu. Terrible.

	@Suffron_SD Ryan howard has more rbis and homeruns than anyone in the last fives years along with and MVP rookie of the year award and a ring. i think he belongs

	@istalkblink182 You really can't be serious that Jeter should be ahead of Bonds. Bonds won 4 straight MVPs and 22.2 higher WAR than Jeter in essentially 3 fewer seasons in the 2000s. There is no argument to be made for Derek Jeter as a better baseball player than Barry Bonds.

	this list would looks a lot better without prince, utley, and lee. those three are no more distinguished than torii hunter, carl crawford, or joe mauer- to name a few. Fielder had one great season (2007) and hasn't really gotten back to that level. Carl Crawford suffers from his days in obscurity but he has played remarkably consistent baseball since 2003. Other than his injury shortened season in 2008, he puts up about a .300 average with 50+ steals every year. the majority of these names are unquestionably the best though, which makes the few exceptions all the more glaring.

	Not the quizmaker's fault, but this list is pretty horrendous. Ryan Howard being around 10 despite playing only half the decade is particularly egregious.

	@istalkblink182: I agree with everything you said except one thing. Though as a Red Sox fan I still respect Jeter, he is not close to as good a fielder as you give him credit for. He looks good but actually misplays easy balls.

	@istalkblink182 You can't seriously think Jeter is a better player than Bonds in the 2000s? Jeter only won the gold glove last year because of name recognition, he has no range therefore couldn't play half the balls andrus could, You argue that Bonds hit only for power, do you realize from 2000-2004 he averaged hitting about .350 a year, 350!!! That's also with a ridiculous number of walks, and if you argue that, than I can say Jeter only hit for average, see how easy that was. as far as MVP Bonds led the Majors in OBP, OPS, and SLUG each year he won, you can argue that he cheated but so did about everyone else during this time, you can not like him because of cheating and his personality but he was a much better player than Jeter, numbers prove it

	Sorry but Manny Ramirez was a horrible position player...probably one of the laziest of all time. A great hitter yes, but not a good defensive player at all.

	If you follow the link (or at least hover over it), you'll see that this is a list of the decade's best hitters. And a decent one at that. If it were a list of best position players, as the title suggests, it's hard to imagine Ryan Howard or Carlos Lee on it without David Wright, Andrew Jones, Scott Rolen, or Jim Edmonds.

	@istalkblink182 "anyone who truly respects the game would agree" that Jeter is better than Bonds? Are you serious? I'm not saying he was a great spokesman for the game and I'm certainly not saying he didn't cheat, I'm just stating the obvious: Barry Bonds was a hell of a lot better than Derek Jeter. Anyone whose head isn't up their ass would agree.

	why dont we all just agree that albert pujols, and his 1.050 OPS, 3 MVPs, 6 silver sluggers, 2 gold gloves, world series ring, the fact that he has nearly 300 more walks than strikeouts and title as best player in baseball right now, should be atop this list.

	lance berkman has more than one team. not sure that david ortiz really counts as a "position" player given that he spends most of his time (/has spent most of his time) at DH

	@everyone: to me, all the steroids and the fact that Bonds used that "bionic elbow" thing negate most of what made Bonds great during the last decade. if you'll notice his numbers dropped severely after he had to stop doing steroids. the difference between him and A-Rod (who i also think is a douche who completely disrespects the game) is that A-Rod could still play at an elite level after he stopped steroids. and what i meant earlier was that the people who respect the integrity of baseball would agree that Jeter is a better "player" b/c he never needed roids to be great. Bonds did, thus not as good of a player. of course i'm from St. Louis and here we dont like roiders. if it had come out that big Mac was on roids when he played i guarantee that he wouldn't have gotten the same love

	Dude above me...Bonds could also say his numbers dropped since he was over 40 years old. Considering ARoid is not nearly as close to the numbers Bonds had at the same age, you are working apples versus oranges.
