| What you need to do is explain exactly how you define "African American" - "A US-born person who claims African descent" or whatever. Does a half black/half white guy like Jeter count? If not, then hwy did you include David PRice, who also has a white mom? What about a 1/4 black guy like Grady Sizemore? What about dark-skinned Hispanic players? What about Russell Martin, a Black Canadian? What about a guy like Bobby Bonilla, who is a black man born in New York, but has Dominican parents? Explain the definition clearly, and use a source, so we know you're not just scanning MLB rosters and thinking "hmm, yeah I think that's a black guy." Then you need to define exactly who is and is not on the list, such as "anyone currently on an active 25-man roster as of X date." Is this exhaustive? Obviously not, since you don't have a whole bunch of African-American players on there. If it is selected ones, which ones and why? Whatever this list is now is pretty unknowable, and that makes the quiz suck. |
