very cool. really runs the gamut from pretty good to awful. disappointed to not see SCITTBW by Cocker, or Stevie's WCWIO.

In your Embed code, change
both
occurrences of "height" to "height=25". There's one near the start, another close to the end. That will leave only the soundtrack visible.

Wow! Fabulous list of acts. I recognize the Sgt Pepper movie soundtrack and George Martin's "In My Life" album. I was hoping for one or two off the "All This And World War Two" album, which had among others Keith Moon performing "When I'm 64". Thanks for avoiding the obvious and concentrating on the music.

"I Am Sam" is another source of multiple covers. Ben Harper's "Strawberry Fields" comes from there and is amazing.

Robin Williams? Jim Carrey? Steve Martin? Goldie Hawn? Billy Connolly? Sean Connery? Should this quiz be listed in the movies section?

Here Comes the Sun sounded NOTHING like the original, heh. Loved the Sean Connery song.

Great quiz. Agree with benfster, Here Comes The Sun doesn't sound like Here Comes The Sun at all.

I expected some of the covers from Across the Universe as those were at least decent compared to these ones

I was expecting "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" by Elton John, "Ob-la-Di, Ob-la-Da" by The Marmalade, "With A Little Help From My Friends" by Joe Cocker, "Within You, Without You", by Blind Melon, and "Hello, Goodbye" by the cast of Glee!

Huge props for including Jeff Beck's version of A Day In The Life! Surprised by the lack of Shatner, but Connery almost made up for it. Like others, I still can't recognize "Here Comes the Sun". I also got "Wishing to avoid an unpleasant scene" mixed up with "Always shouts out something obscene" due to the way Steve Martin changed the song. btw, the last song should be 6:13-6:23, not 6:23-6:33.

@MacCuvEngMgnt Yep, I chose the John Williams version because I thought it would be a hard one.

Surprised you didn't put the Jimi Hendrix cover of Sgt. Pepper on there! I was expecting it so much that I put it in there as a guess, and it came up empty! Wonderful quiz!

The greatest Beatles cover of all time was the version of I Am The Walrus by Spooky Tooth, I was hoping I'd hear that one, oh well.

Great quiz! Seriously though - where is Joe Cocker's "With A Little Help From My Friends"? It's the only cover song which managed to be even better than the Beatles' original.

Anyone else finding Sporcle audio won't play on their computer anymore. One of my updates, or ill advised options on my part, has apparently blocked the feature.
