	Crows are indeed smart. They pick up walnuts from trees, drop them to break open, and then eat the inside. They can eat cherries on the tree on the branches, with the stem and the seed remaining on. They even have a death ritual. My uncle has personally seen the crow group gathering around a dying crow, then an elder crow appearing, looking at the dying crow, and declaring it dead. Or something like that, we cannot know for sure.

	I agree with Lowbill, seems a bit subjective. Surely seal or sea lion should be high up there? (certainly above sheep!)

	okay first of all cat is higher on the list and a dog is definitely not smarter than a cat or a pig it might not even make it on the list and squirrels definitely do not make it they are one of the stupidest and definitely not smarter than a rat sheep also do not belong on the list and both horses and dogs are smarter than them raven?crow desrves to be moved up a bit and parrot and whale need to be moved back elephants are not as smart as cats or pigs either and a rat needs to be boosted far up the list like to seven or sixright after or right before big and cat should be at five, dolphin at three and monkey at two

	im not sure why human is accepted for great ape. they are different. human definitely needs to be number one, we are animals and we are, obviously, the smartest. this list is so far different than any other i have ever seen. this is not correct. this list seems like it was made by some random person with opinion and not actual study facts. dog, cat, whale, and sheep i have never seen on a "smartest animals" list.
