@Dru This was AWESOME and made me think. My only suggestion might be that for me there was no way I could recognize Tracey from that picture.

Ah yes, 1996. The year the "jumping the shark" bar was lowered from five years to five episodes.

"Doug" didn't start in 1996; the terrible Disney version did, but the show itself began in 1991. And it's "Sabrina, THE Teenage Witch". Otherwise, great quiz (of course). Also, Sprout, Tracey was one of the first pictures I knew!

Ah, I see. I've swapped out Doug. The problem with every Tracey Takes On picture I can find is that she's equally unrecognizable in all of them.

Her unrecognizableness (unrecognizability?) made me recognize her...but I couldn't think of another show she was in, and I knew it wasn't the Tracy Ullman Show. Also I don't understand how Millennium is so low; presumably anyone who watched the X-Files either watched Millennium or was aware of it...*shrug*

@pete: Probably because most people can't spell Millennium correctly - 2 Ls, 2 Ns.

Judge Judy I thought was much earlier, I feel like that show was on all through the 90s.

No Spin City?, because that debuted in '96 as well.

Ah, Pacific Blue: It's like Baywatch, but with bicycles. And fewer boobs.

Not a whole lot of good shows debuting in 1996, were there?

On the contrary, Mario Lopez is one of the biggest boobs out there.

Good times! I used to love "Early Edition" but had since forgotten about its existence until now!

I'm absolutely floored that "Millennium" is the least gotten, even lower than "Tracy Takes On". I watched every episode of "Millennium" and it was a spin off of a fantastically famous show ("X-Files") and had a known sci-fi actor as its star.

I miss Nash Bridges and Suddenly Susan. They don't play reruns anymore.

I'm stunned and saddened that only 6% of people got Millennium right.

I am absolutely floored that I hadn't realized Kyle Chandler was the star of Early Edition even though I watched it a lot as a child.

Millennium was a great show, but ultimately too dark for network TV. It could have flourished a decade later on cable!

Does anyone else think Billy Bush from Access Hollywood looks like Simon Baker? I typed in The Mentalist and then couldn't think of anything else Baker had been in.

Seems like a lot of these didn't last long. Had a lot of them continued into the 2000s, they would probably be more frequently guessed.

Ah, "The Pretender"-I loved that show. At least I did until it jumped the shark, and then circled back around to jump it again. And again. Still- that show made me one happy teenage girl for awhile there.

You accepted "Dexter" for "Dexter's Laboratory" but not "Tracy Takes On" for "Tracey Takes On"? Didn't even think of adding the "e" to her first name, but I had the show right.

The problem with MILLENNIUM is that second "N"! If only more people (myself included) knew how to SPELL it right!

Kind of lame that you accept "Craig Kilborn" for "The Daily Show." I typed his name on the chance he had an eponymous show and yet I get credit for the show I forgot he hosted and wouldn't have guessed... Also, accept 'pac blue' for 'Pacific Blue,' that's what it's generally referred to as.

Good quiz, druhutch. Question. Have you thought about quizzes on the TV debuts of shows from 2009 and later?
