This is an attempt to take the new multi-column format (which will be available to all users shortly) out for a spin. It might've worked better if I'd chosen fewer shows, or just chosen one TV show/movie/song/etc. and matched up different witty exchanges without the 'source' column. Or it might just be too ambitious an idea.
But if it does work, I'd like to see what others might do with idea--similar to all of the 'follow that line' quizzes. Except it's 'follow a few lines' this time, I guess; I wasn't sure what to call it so I went with 'keep it going', but I'm open to suggestions. I was also unsure how much time to put on it, so I'd be curious about that as well.
I pretty much picked the first 12 comedies I could think of, so if you feel that some could be removed or added I'm all ears. And if you think the lines hear aren't representative of your favorite comedy, bear in mind that it was difficult to hunt for a nice, fairly brief exchange that was exactly four lines long and (especially in cases like Archer or It's Always Sunny) not overly offensive.
Anyway...hope it's a manageable quiz. |
