OK, I'm going to preface my statement with an important comment: Hutch, you've made some great games that I absolutely love, and not just have all of your published games deserved to be published, but I wouldn't be surprised if you have a ton more in the "soon-to-be-published" pipeline. (Plus, your "Simpsons" word ladder turned out to be nothing short of genius.)
With that out of the way... I totally get what you're trying to do with this game, and I (truly) appreciate your inventiveness, but I completely dislike this quiz. The questions are very simple, the "TYPE XYZ" clues are silly (why not just make the next actual question pop up somewhere else in the grid?), the diamonds hurt my eyes, and the whole thing is very goofy in a way I don't personally appreciate.
This comment will probably get voted down, and I'm OK with that, and I'm going to reiterate what a fan of your quizzes I am (I'm going to check your contributed games to see if you've made any quizzes in Television that I missed right now). But I just can't get behind this one, and aside from that inventiveness, there's nothing I enjoy about it. |
