	That's what I get for picking the bands that I liked best. I mean Foreigner has more than Queen, seriously? What a screwed up world we live in.

	@sammyhain: It sounds so mysterious when you put it like that without naming the source (like it's Deep Throat, or something). Seriously though, I have no doubt there are different numbers in different places; even inside of Wikipedia the numbers vary. That's why I didn't just list the source, but included the source in the actual question. "According to the RIAA".

	Um, I just looked up KISS and according to RIAA KISS has 37,500,000 in album sales.

	Well, I just checked again and that's not what it says on the "Top Selling Artists" page. But since there seems to be serious debate about it I've swapped Kiss out with another band (one that in no way approaches Kiss's status)

	Good quiz druhutch but I would suggest making it a forced answer quiz (the one that has the skip button) and either typing "One" or "Two" (or A or B or something) rather than typing the whole name of the band.

	Great concept. The one drawback is that the format doesn't allow for the usual complement of druhutch's trademark snarky bonus answers.

	To me, the differences are so small, that it's really more luck than skill in most cases. Then there are the inherent problems with using RIAA as a source. The table is based on total gold and platinum albums, rather than actual sales. Those aren't awarded automatically: unless the record company pays for it, you don't get one. They are also based on shipments, not actual sales. Also, according to RIAA, the Beatles' self-titled "white" album (19x Platinum) has outsold Sgt Pepper (14x Platinum) or Abbey Road (12x Platinum). Why? Because a double album counts as two sales, not one. So actually, the white album sold about 9.5 million copies.

	I could totally see Foreigner outselling Queen. Foreigner is probably the only surprise that I actually like. I'm more bummed that Creed outsold Genesis and Whitesnake outsold ABBA. Whitesnake is a one-hit wonder! Maybe two-hit wonder. I'm actually surprised Rush outsold Heart, as a fan of both.
