Your Borat title is a little bit too long. Nice quiz.

I can't believe one in five people knew how to spell Lumbergh
Jul 19th, 2011 at 13:48 GMT
@chocabloc - I suspect that most people missed the instruction that they had to type in the last name as well as the first for the Bills. And when they typed in "Bill" and nothing happened, they assumed they got it wrong. (I would just give people credit for both if they type in "Bill.")
Jul 19th, 2011 at 20:42 GMT
huh....looks like IMDB is wrong, because although the movie's name is "beetlejuice" the character's name is "betelgeuse", like the star.
Jul 19th, 2011 at 23:22 GMT
You also shouldn't require the middle name of the Eddie Murphy character.

That character is from Aliens, not Alien.
Jul 20th, 2012 at 04:22 GMT
Batman the third most missed with 25%? what the hell? Batman!?
Jul 20th, 2012 at 04:30 GMT
There have obviously been some changes since the quiz was first created. No way Boba Fett is the least known.
Jul 20th, 2012 at 04:41 GMT
Yes, as @joshmassey guessed some characters have been swapped in, out, and around since the quiz was first made, so it will take many more plays before you can trust the accuracy of the stats. (Some quizmakers would be able to tell you
how many more plays. I am not smart like that.)

Sometimes, I like to put alternate answers to the test. Props to @druhutch for including Betelgeuse. :)
Jul 20th, 2012 at 05:28 GMT
Rats: "That guy from Alien(s)" doesn't start with B.... Ah well, fun quiz.

No Bella from Twilight? *Has man-card revoked*

I thought Ed Wood was Bela Lugosi..."Now, what character did Bela Lugosi play that started with 'B'?"

This quiz It's NIIIIICE!
Jul 20th, 2012 at 10:57 GMT
Wow. I really thought that one was Joe Pesci, and I could not fathom what movie he would be in dressed like that.
Jul 20th, 2012 at 11:56 GMT
Um, yeah...I'm gonna need you to make a sequel, so if you could do that right away that'd be great....yeah...
Jul 20th, 2012 at 12:31 GMT
Bluto is next to last. There was a time when he was as recognizable as any movie character. The times, they are a-changing.
Jul 20th, 2012 at 12:33 GMT
What about Bob?
Jul 20th, 2012 at 13:12 GMT
The Princess Bride and Animal House are near the bottom!? For shame Sporclers.

If last names are acceptable then you really should accept Fett.
Jul 20th, 2012 at 14:20 GMT
It would be fraktastically amazing if Bellatrix's picture was moving around like Harry Potter pictures are apt to do.
Jul 20th, 2012 at 14:48 GMT
Did not accept "Bonnie"
Jul 20th, 2012 at 15:19 GMT
Koltrane: I think he is still recognizable but people just dont realize his name is Bluto in the movie...Animal House is one of my most watched movies and I still started typing Belushi. I think alot of people just think of that character as "John Belushi's character in Animal House."

Brick killed a guy!
Jul 20th, 2012 at 21:22 GMT
"Oh I know that one! That's the girl from Beauty and the Beast." So I type in "beauty". Damn you sporclitis

I got 3 more answers than I knew by just randomly guessing common "B" names :P
Jul 21st, 2012 at 04:21 GMT
I wonder what percentage of people who got the picture of Uma Thurman were trying to guess the pictures of Helena Bonham Carter or Robin Wright.

I kept thinking Steve Carrell's was Barry from "Dinner for Schmucks" ... Wrong movie.
Jul 21st, 2012 at 09:13 GMT
I was thinking "Man, that looks like Bela Lugosi" and so I tried it. Turns out I didn't really know how to spell his name and so I thought I was just wrong all around. :)
Jul 21st, 2012 at 20:05 GMT
I thought the Steve Carell character was Evan Baxter.
Jul 25th, 2012 at 19:37 GMT
Way too easy. You accept Bill for Bill Lumbergh. At least make it a 'answer in order.' People can just type Bob and Bill and so forth randomly. No need to think.
Jul 26th, 2012 at 00:33 GMT
There was a bounty hunter that was reptillian and hunted Wookies, and Bossk was his name-o B-O-S-S-K B-O-S-S-K B-O-S-S-K and Bossk was his name-o
Jul 26th, 2012 at 04:54 GMT
@ensiform: You're preaching to the choir, my friend. I had this set up just as you described but it was changed before it was featured. Sporcle stays away from the "answer in order" picture format unless it is absolutely unavoidable. I thought 'B' way too common a first-name letter to
do answer in order. But if they want it like this, I'm in no position to object--I'm happy enough with it being published.
Jul 29th, 2012 at 07:11 GMT
Great quiz, drhutch! Thanks for including the B___ Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail! (It is sad to see the answers that are least guessed.)
Aug 9th, 2012 at 02:28 GMT
Rather annoying to have someone alter a quiz after you make a point for improvement and then you are marked down afterwards. Really need a way to remove your own out-of-date comments.

Biff Tannen (Back to the Future) would have been good to use.
