I did way better on this one than on the "I" one. Would have been perfect but for "ao"

As soon as this quiz hit the User Created "highest rated" list with 8 "5 Globe" ratings, I thought "oh no, someone is going to immediately give it a '1 globe'". Took maybe five minutes. Someone must do that for a living.

I reckon it's Stabby the Narwhal that does it. It's his job to spread Sporcle misery. Maybe try giving yourself a 4 rating when you have seven 5's and see if you can pass your quizzes under the radar. Does anyone know if the Sporcle gods ever gave Stabby his own user profile? I'd like to follow him.

The "someone gives it a '1 globe' rating as soon as a quiz gets a high rating" syndrome has happened to me too. I think the reason that this Sporcle naysayer (Stabby?) does it is because there is no zero rating that they would give if they could.

aa is always my favorite word to use when playing with people who aren't familiar with the scrabble dictionary. you also get to sound really smart as you explain to them that aa is a type of rough, crusty lava. As for Stabby the whale, he must really hate me, since he always gives me one globe even if just three or four people have given me a five.

@DarkPhalanx- you can download an app for your iphone, not an ap.

To the 5% who are getting AN, AT, AS and AM wrong. Fancy a game of Scrabble? Small stakes to begin with ....

So...my mind now thinks 'Am' is clearly not a legal word. Hmmm... :/

@bimmerhead I was going to say the same thing, but my game is Word Feud. I got 100 percent on this ONLY because I play that constantly. Otherwise I know I would have missed some.

Surely, it must be because I'm tired that I spent more time trying to decide AM and AN were legal or not than AG.

There's no reason "AP" shouldn't be legal, it means "son of"... albeit in Welsh.

Great quiz - got them all first time and not played Scrabble for 2 years! Something's obviously stuck... Thanks!
