Correctly named names will show up below
Answers do not have to be guessed in order
► INSTRUCTIONS: Match the three parts of the name (from the columns marked 'Title', 'First Name', and 'Last Name') and type out the full name and title that they create.

One small typo. It's Nathan R. Jessep, not Jessup according to IMDb. Great quiz otherwise.

You could use the last column to list the actor/actress, if you don't want just a dot there when they're answered.

@JimmyJames: yeah, that's a good idea. I should do that.
Thanks for the pick, FearTheManatee!

I looked at this and said "nothing special." Then I actually played it and was very impressed by it. Good for you Hutch

Tried every combo to get Lieutenant Gordon (didn't know first name). Turns out it wasn't even him soooo... I just wasted a bunch of time trying to guess him.

Lieutenant Dan!!! How did I not remember him! Great quiz!

Had I not seen Gump a couple days ago I would not have remembered Lieut Dan's last name--but he went through the whole history of his family in that great dark comedy bit about how every male member of his family died gloriously in war, but Gump "saved" him from his destiny of dying in Nam... Love that Sinise, legs or no.

The two James need to be distinguished somehow, especially if you miss the answers and are trying to read the correct ones. I don't know which is which.

Oct 23rd, 2011 at 06:26 GMT
I did it and had fun remembering the old and varied titles
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 06:50 GMT
Damn it, I did so poorly on this quiz. The only Farmer I could think of was "Farmer Ted" from Sixteen Candles. Amazing how that character never really had a name.

@ kagomeshuko - I haven't seen either film but I'd guess that President James Marshall is from AirForce One as I know that Harrison Ford plays a president in that film. HTH.
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 07:42 GMT
I was hoping for Special Agent Nathan the Pure to be one of the answers
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 09:37 GMT
"Farmer" is a title? Good quiz!
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 10:34 GMT
Man, it's not a real answer, but wouldn't you love to know a guy named Buck Justice?
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 11:54 GMT
upon seeing detective, I immediately looked for "John Kimble"
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 13:22 GMT
i was hoping it would be captain jack harkness
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 14:40 GMT
It's always nice to see a Spaceballs reference here and there.
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 19:37 GMT
Not only was this quiz fun, but it was also educational, as I finally learned Judge Smails' first name. Elihu? No wonder he was angry all the time.
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 22:16 GMT
Did anyone else try 'Judge Judy' with all the last names?! No? Just me then......
Oct 23rd, 2011 at 23:48 GMT
@euchdaddy - Funny with the John Kimble, with the Doctor, I was looking for Richard Kimble!
Oct 24th, 2011 at 00:44 GMT
Tried everything I could think of for Commisioner Gordon... then realized I'd spelled Commissioner wrong. ::headdesk::
Oct 24th, 2011 at 02:07 GMT

5 globes for a reference to BOTH Monty Python AND Mel Brooks.
Oct 24th, 2011 at 08:22 GMT
Very well executed, also quite hard. A fiver.
Oct 24th, 2011 at 18:02 GMT
I don't know if the inclusion of "Buford T." and "Benjamin" was a purposeful red herring, but I sure wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what Bubba's (full name: Benjamin Buford Blue) military rank was.
Oct 24th, 2011 at 21:08 GMT
I saw Captain. I saw James. I did not see Kirk. Sad. ;)

@Kabresa: Since you mention it...
Dec 3rd, 2011 at 05:04 GMT
@Sporcla: I thought "Judge Judy Justice" made perfect sense.
Dec 29th, 2011 at 20:02 GMT
good timing on the quiz... i spent too much time trying to figure out Judge Smails name. Did they ever actually say his first name in the movie?
Jun 30th, 2012 at 16:05 GMT
i like the What About Bob? reference!
Jan 28th, 2013 at 05:24 GMT
