| Zaire would also work for the Z-E one. |

| @amwoods13 - Zaire hasn't been a country for almost 15 years. |

| I did something just like this a while back - except mine was short, clumsily written, and unpopular. So more power to you! |
 | explodingtrees: | Oct 26th, 2010 at 04:45 GMT | | 6 points |
| The distance between the first and last letters made it harder for me to visualize the short answers! Fun quiz! |

| The F in Burkina Faso should be capitalized.
Nice work! Is this the complete list of unique begin/end pairs? That would be worth mentioning, if it's true. |
 | drappo: | Oct 26th, 2010 at 18:36 GMT | | 2 points |
| It's not quite the whole list. It's about 2/3 of all the unique begin/end pairs, so i suppose there's a quiz to be made out of that. Have sorted the 'F.' |

| Nice quiz - much harder than I thought it would be. Kudos! |

| Some of them very easy. Some surprisingly difficult. Maybe I would have removed Timor Leste, since it's also referred to east East Timor? |

| Ahhhh, why do I always forget Chad on these kind of things? It makes me a GIANT SQUID OF ANGER! Really fun quiz, though. :) |

| @hscer: I also did one of these a while back but it was about Beatles songs and it was also unpopular! Good to see drappo make it work. |
 | TheDavibob: | Sep 3rd, 2011 at 16:09 GMT | | 2 points |
| It's funny - I'd got to the random typing in stage and East Timor got me an answer, despite not actually fitting. Great quiz, anyhow. |
 | koopa08: | Sep 7th, 2011 at 18:11 GMT | | 1 point |
| Interesting that you allow 'Timor-Lest' as acceptable answer, without having to type in the final 'e' |

| @barnztormre @legend930 Samoa IS a sovereign nation. It has been independent of New Zealand since 1962 and has been a UN member state since 1976. It's even included on Sporcle's countries of the world quiz ;) |

| You should accept Rep Congo for Republic of Congo. Most sporcle quizzes do. |

| I seem to be able to manage to get some obscure answers straight away, yet I was really annoyed at missing some easier ones. |

| I agree with the way this quiz handles Vatican City, even though I missed it. But I wish there was consistency across the quizzes. The "doesn't end with a vowel" quiz accepts Vatican and the "City" ending is not used on the countries of the world or European countries quiz. |

| Isn't the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" That's why I didn't even think to guess it. And if u say "well, it's UK for short" couldn't u also say it could also be a suitable answer for G...N as in Great Britain, cause it goes by Britain too, doesn't it? |

| I didn't think of the UK, but got it when entering Ukraine. |
 | Pogues: | Sep 29th, 2011 at 18:36 GMT | | 6 points |
| Having the quiz accept UK while typing Ukraine is a bit...lame. I'd have just left United Kingdom off this quiz. |

| @Veillantif 1. Germany's official not is Bundesrepublik Deutschland (with a D). 2. Sporcle uses common names. We don't want to open the official names can of worms... especially not in native languages. |
