	Eighth isn't pronounced AYTH - there's a distinct 't' sound so it doesn't rhyme with faith. Alp and Scalp rhyme.

	i dont accept wealth because you should technically pronounce the f, but its been lost in different dilects, silver anc hilver i accept and hirple and purple i accept, but i cant find a decent definition for sporange and apparently its not pronounced to rhyme with orange. Also millionth has an extra 2 syllables than month so im discarding it. Alp does Rhyme with Scalp, consider it gone

	Door Hinge. Bye, orange. Also, "millionth" and "month" still rhyme. If a poem said "I thought that I'd see not one month; instead I've seen my millionth" and it rhymes, it rhymes. Extra syllables affect meter more than rhyme in cases of monosyllabic word rhyming.

	I disagree, and orange has stayed you silly person, i cannot find a definition for sporange except urban dictionary and that does not count, also iv heard it somewhere else and it suggested it was prounced so that it does not rhyme with orange. Millionth and month dont make a perfect rhyme so im not goin for it, ill only accept words with the same number of syllables.

	Well let's see. The quiz says "doesn't rhyme with anything." Door Hinge is a thing. It's a phrase. You never said no phrases. Hell, you don't even have a source for this. Moreover, it's not up to you to decide what rhymes and what doesn't. It's a FACT that millionth and month rhyme, and that isn't up for interpretation.

	In IPA, millionth is [mɪljənθ] and month is [mənθ] (OED.) Some have the alternate mʌnθ, but anyone who knows anything about IPA knows that ə and ʌ are interchangeable in English. Also, literally anyone who hears "door hinge" and "orange" spoken will instantly realize that they rhyme unless they're actively trying not to. Come on, now. As a linguistics major I assure you that you're wrong on this one.

	The fact that you're asking what my language is shows you've got no idea what you're talking about. Linguistics is the study of language itself. And as the IPA is International Phonetic Alphabet-that is, the official pronunciation language-I'm right. I mean, again, it's a fact that they rhyme. The definition of rhyming is "word agreeing with another terminal sound." You've got absolutely nothing on your side but your opinion of what a rhyme is. I have the FACT of what a rhyme is. Stop being so stubborn.

	Millionth doesn't rhyme with month because of how the words are stressed. MILlionth - MONTH. Like bacon doesn't rhyme with ton.

	IPA has a different story. Not being stressed results in "onth" in "millionth" having a schwa. "Month" naturally comes with a schwa. So one might say BECAUSE "millionth" has stress on "mill" it rhymes with "month." Also, this puzzle's orange is bothersome given Door Hinge rhymes with it, whether or not dodsface appreciates fact.

	Yes they share the schwa, but for a rhyme to be perfect the stress needs to be sorted out. MONTH - MILlionth is called a near rhyme and is in the same league as assonance (month - stump). Millionth rhymes with billionth, in order to make it rhyme with month you have to find a way to take the stress off month: e.g. This present is my millionth, December's such a chill month.

	It's worth mentioning that JayHankEdLyon's IPA transcriptions have been taken from the OED and because of their broad phonological nature they're only really a rough guide to pronounciation. Millionth and month will rhyme in some accents and not others. I don't see how the number of syllables is relevant, mission and premonition seem to a fair rhyme. Door hinge and orange rhyming is too subjective for me to be called a rhyme. Herrod54, silver rhymes with chilver, google it. Dodsface, would you accept lozenge and orange? This may be depend on your accent, where are you from?

	hey Jay - in NY we don't pronounce the or- in orange like door. It is said Are-Inj. Plus, door hinge has an H that orange doesn't AND it's 2 words, so it's clearly disqualified. And yeah, I'm a linguistics major, too. Get off your high horse.

	@dodsface This is a great idea for a quiz but it should be based upon a source rather than you personal opinions. Also, you shouldn't tell someone to "enunciate!" when you can't even type well or even spell "rhyme" consistently.

	@michaelwilson, id like a source but some websites donot have all the words on this list and im using a cut off line at the number of syllables and also doing research intot he pronounciation of the words at question.
