It appears to be a glitch in the Sporcle game designer. It is accepting the word "and" and "the" interchangeably. Can't find a way around it.

Very nice idea, maybe the same game with people names would be cool, too.

I like it. When I first saw the quiz title I immediately thought "ye" and then forgot to enter it. Ooops.

This quiz was cool, but it would have been way cooler if 'smite' had been a correct answer.

@chriskotx - I was thinking Xerxes as well but apparently the King James calls Xerxes Ahasuerus - another reason why we should be using more recent versions like the ESV and NIV.

You know if you say the answers they almost sound like a bible verse.

Xerxes and Ahasuerus are the Greek and Hebrew pronunciations of a Persian name, "Khshayarsha". The Hebrew is actually kind of closer! Xerxes is not really more correct, but more familiar because he also shows up in Greek history.

In my Bible, Xerxes is used 3 times in the first 2 verses of Esther alone.
