The opening note on LSD is out of tune

Wow, good quiz. I can't believe I'm only in the 76th percentile with a score of 17/20. Sporclers sure do know their Beatles.

"Getting Better" should be 50 not 55, and all the ones after it need to be moved back 5 too.

Love it. I'd make the times :10, :15, 1:20, etc., so as to correspond to the timer on the playback. Much easier to go back to the ones you miss. And the fact is that the sounds play a second later--:11, :16, etc.--though that's not crucial.

Great quiz- the only complaint I have is that you seemed to have chosen all of the songs with the longest names (e.g. The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill, LSD, etc.).

It's a shame that Tomorrow Never Knows, which has an extremely unique and pretty hard to miss first note if you're familiar with the song, is so relatively low. For my money their most creative song and one of their best.

Really well done. My only issue would be that, at least on my CD version of the White Album, those intro notes to Bungalow Bill are actually tacked on to the end of Wild Honey Pie, and Bungalow Bill starts with the large group singing. Can't knock a great quiz for a botched recording production job, though. Keep it up! :)

Great idea. I'm amazed at how recognizable many of these are.

Still convinced that Bungalow Bill sounds like Don't Let Me Down. Or Good Day Sunshine. Fun quiz - it's hard to make a challenging Beatles quiz, but you did!

We could do with a minute more of time, but apart from that it was a great quiz... I had to rack my brains for the lyrics though!

This is brilliant. The reason I didn't get "Tomorrow Never Knows" is that that little snippet sounds exactly like "Within You Without You".

@leapyear: i thought it was 'don't let me down' too. same problem that Whack86 had. I also thought 65 was organ or synth not harpsichord and all I could think of was secret machines cover of 'flying'. I should have tried it!

The Bungalow Bill one is really unfair to anyone who doesn't listen to records.

I thought Bungalow Bill sounded like "I'm So Tired." @John JF: I agree - it's one of my favorites too!

Fun quiz! The Beatles must be in my bloodstream if I got 18 out of 20 from the first note. (Went back to re-listen to "Bungelow Bill" which I just missed before the time-out, and "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" which still stumped me.)

I'd change Bungalow Bill... it makes it not about who can recognize the song from the note, but who listens to the records, which isn't any good.

This quiz is probably easier for people with perfect pitch. I understand the within you without you/tomorrow never knows confusion, but the pitches are different.
