Thanks for accepting "Luna", although perhaps it should appear as the answer rather than simply "The Moon"? Although it's not actually too well-known, Luna is its name after all.

I got the top 6 in about 25 seconds. I couldn't remember Uranus' moon, and I have no idea why the other two "dwarf" planets were included.

Sorry to be a grammar stickler, but the home page link to this quiz should be "Planets' Biggest Moons" and not "Planets Biggest Moons." It seems no one can get possessives or apostrophes right these days.

Awesome, just awesome. I hope one day, astronomy will be a single category on Sporcle. But still a distant hope.

Touche' Rockgolf and Caramba. I'm thinking of other "moons" now: (song & TV show Moonlighting; what the cow jumped over; Blue Moon; Moon over Parador; mooning as in full monty.... hmmm). Thank you Star Trek for teaching me the name of Saturn's moon.

:) Yay for including the dwarf planet moons! I'm a huge fan of moons (as anyone whose seen the outrageous all moons of the solar system quiz has probably noticed.) Nice work! And @GeoExpert: I second making a space category!

if Haumea and Eris don't count, neither does Pluto. I'd rather keep all three.

Everything but Haumea and Uranus. People know Eris cause it was a big part of Pluto losing its status.

Dysnomia has to be one of the coolest things in the solar system. It's a mile long moon that somehow stays in orbit to a little dwarf planet flying around in a belt of asteroids where it somehow doesn't get knocked out of orbit. I just love it!
