It's one thing to use the extended version of the song, but you left out an entire verse from the version everyone knows.

Take out "I begged" to "kick it" and use the "I whistled for a cab" verse until the end.

I've gotta agree with the above comments. The "famous theme song that we all love" is the one with the "whistled for a cab" verse, not the "begged and pleaded verse." Unless your plan was to deliberately trip people up, in which case leave as-is.
