| One other major oddity for 1961: While the year book you cite gives populations for Mimico, New Toronto and Long Branch, there's nothing listed for Etobicoke, which ingested all of them in the late 1960s. In fact, there's no reference to Etobicoke, North York or Scarborough, each of which were independent of Toronto in 1961 but populous enough to make the list. Nothing you can do about it, I think. If the Gov of Canada didn't recognize them, I can't imagine where you'd get that info. |
