Inn another episode Mr Burns shows he is still way behind the times. He has a Joe di Maggio baseball card and remarks "Apparently, they're allowing ethnics into the big leagues now"

It's a rare occasion when I'm stumped by a Simpsons quiz. I could name only one of the players Mr. Burns originally wanted. Bravo!

Only 3 of those (Anson, Wagner, and Brown) are actually named by Burns... for the rest you have to pause the dvd and look at the defensive formation. So I'd imagine only the most intense of fans would get 100 on this quiz.

This quiz has been known to cause gigantism, but only in rare cases.

Darryl... Darryl... Darryl... IMO the list of Burns' preferred players should be swapped for a list of the ringers' fates (Ken Griffey Jr's gigantism, etc), for the reason devourerofsouls said.

Great quiz, maybe accept other alternatives for the stakes such as "1 million" etc.

@devourerofsouls: Good point about Burns actually saying the names of those guys. Coincidentally, those were the only three I got!

"Okay, let's go over the ground rules. You can't leave first until you chug a beer. Any man scoring has to chug a beer. You have to chug a beer at the top of all odd-numbered innings. Oh, and the fourth inning is the beer inning."

Add in what got people kicked off the team, though perhaps the answers are too vague. Also, you forgot the first part of the episode... Did everyone forget what else happens in this episode?

Best Simpsons episode ever. "Kids, tell me when your father stops scratching himself...kids? "We'll let you know mom."

How good is this episode? When I think of Wade Boggs, I think of his introduction to the power plant, NOT his 64-beer cross-country flight.
