I didn't catch your 'one game in the majors' criteria; I was going to suggest you add the Negro League players. Very interesting quiz. You know, one of the players on baseball-reference.com has their birth site listed as 'ship on Atlantic Ocean'?

Yep, Ed Porray. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/porraed01.shtml

Haha, Ed Porray is one of my favorite baseball stories. Which Negro Leaguers weren't born in America? I can only think of Cristobal Torriente and Jose Mendez.

Puerto Ricans are not foreigners, they are US citizens.

Because of what antylon just pointed out, the title may need to be changed to match the quiz descrpition

hard to believe the wave of Latin players in just the last 20 years. This list will double in no time. (well, maybe with the steroid issue, it won't.)

I had assumed this quiz was recently written given Alomar & Blyleven. Amazed to find it was contributed in Feb of last year. How did it get resurrected and receive so many plays?

@minnmich...the most likely way an old quiz gets resurrected (either intentionally or just by chance) is that someone happens to play it right after the "most played today" resets for the day. So then that list refreshes again and the old quiz is on it with just one or 2 plays. Then, because it's on the list, it's readily clickable and a few other people click it and play it and as the day goes on it just remains on that "most played today" list. The "most played today" list is very self-perpetuating in that way.

In case anyone's wondering (but why would you be?), there's only one non-American Hall of Famer who never played in either the Majors or the Negro Leagues. Henry Chadwick, often called "the father of baseball", was an Englishman.

OK, added Blyleven and Alomar. I realize Puerto Rico is kind of borderline as far as being considered "foreign" so I added the qualifier in the instructions that I am talking about being born outside the contiguous US.
