| I agree dtro. Keller only played 6 full seasons, so he has no realistic shot, and from what I understand Dick Allen was very similar to Albert Belle - very close to HOF numbers, and if he wasn't such a Dick (!) to reporters he probably would have gotten in - guys with worse numbers who had bubbly personalities like Kirby Puckett are a good example of this. I also thought Frank Howard maybe didn't get a fair shake - he had some great seasons for a terrible team, and was washed up at 34 - if he can play until he's 40, he's Harmon Killebrew. |
