| Excellent idea, and I like how you sorted the list. My one thing to change would be dropping the timer to, oh, four minutes. Five, tops. |
 | pita: | Nov 23rd, 2009 at 01:50 GMT | | 1 point |
| I felt like I ran out of time with 5 minutes, though I don't know if I could've gotten the others with more time or not. 2 of the 4, possibly. The other 2, no way. |

| Poor Wally Post. And is Johnny Mize one of the most underrated players ever, or what? |
 | ChemicalToilet: | Dec 3rd, 2009 at 17:16 GMT | | -3 points |
| I always put an E at the end of Dunn's name. |

 | dtro: | Jan 20th, 2010 at 19:02 GMT | | 1 point |
| Typed in Pen...and time ran out. Good quiz, but 1 more minute would have helped me. I think I would have gotten all but Wally Post. |
 | DonnyB: | Jan 20th, 2010 at 20:17 GMT | | 2 points |
| The one time I don't guess Johnny Mize... |
 | kenechi: | Jan 21st, 2010 at 12:12 GMT | | 1 point |
| great quiz. i didnt know any of the old timers. |
 | deej: | Jan 21st, 2010 at 18:47 GMT | | 1 point |
| i changed the time from 5 to 8 minutes. In general I'm not a fan of timed games anyway, but with a quiz with so few answers I felt like 15 was too long. |

| bonus answer: arod? |
 | Chris968: | Jan 27th, 2010 at 01:36 GMT | | 2 points |
| A-rod's last name is Rodriguez. Why would that be a bonus answer? Then all nicknames would have to be accepted. |

| Hmmmph. Anyone else try "Cobb" about three times! Great to see Jim Rice & Norm Cash on here. Quiz is a home run. |
 | buppyspek: | Jan 28th, 2010 at 20:07 GMT | | 17 points |
| I really need to learn to read the whole question. It's four OR FEWER letters in their name. Totally missed those guys. |
 | dadlak: | Jan 28th, 2010 at 20:15 GMT | | 2 points |
| I should have gotten Dunn and Ott. The rest were tricky. Happy to remember Norm Cash. Not many did. |
 | AtoneMENT: | Jan 28th, 2010 at 20:17 GMT | | 17 points |
| Wait a minute, this list can't be right, I remember calling lots of other players names with four letters through the course of any baseball season... :) Nice quiz! |

| No Bucky F*****g Dent? His 1978 tiebreaker game home run should probably count for 40... |

| I was so indignant about Moises Alou not being on here until I saw he topped out at 39. Lousy quiz creator had to go and have the facts on his side. |
 | HillJackBob: | Jan 28th, 2010 at 20:43 GMT | | 10 points |
| i was the same way with Jeff Kent, and found out he only got as high as 37. |

| Thank goodness for my love of baseball trivia... And it doesn't hurt that Wally Post and Norm Cash were 2 of my dad's favorites... |
 | trivial: | Jan 28th, 2010 at 21:01 GMT | | 3 points |
| The four letters or *fewer* thing got me, too. I'm sure I would have gotten Lee and Ott if I had just read the directions! Still got a respectable eight. |

| Can't believe I left out Johnny Mize. He's from the county where I grew up for heaven's sake and the only one on the list that I have personally met. |

| how the hell did i forget jermaine dye and carlos pena. this just happened. |
 | ad808: | Jan 29th, 2010 at 03:11 GMT | | 0 points |
| Fact - Jim Rice lives in a town next to the town where Carlos Pena grew up. Nice seeing North Andover, MA and Haverhill, MA representing in the same quiz. Even better that it happens to be in a baseball quiz. |
