Weird...I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but after I took and looked at 'most guessed' it was completely different that the ones I'd missed/gotten. It had me missing 7 even though I only missed 4, and claimed that Schmidt and Delgado had 0%, which can't possibly be true. This happen to anyone else?

Happened to me, too. Maybe bonus answers are out of place? Also, would love to see their amounts in the 3rd column. Good quiz.

Man, is Paul Konerko having the quietest run to 500 HR or what? Five more years at 30, or six more at 25, and he's there.

You guys were right, I forgot that bonus answers need to be last, which explains the weird results page errors. I fixed it.

Can't believe that two of my all time favs, are two of the least guessed right, Schmidt and Ripken.

The thing seems screwed up - tbere's no way fewer people are guessing Mike Schmidt than Gil Hodges or Norm Cash.

Billy Williams is at 94% and Ted Williams is at 80%? That can't be right, considering Ted is better known and you get both just by typing in Williams, even if you meant Billy.

the results are screwed up because i entered the bonuses wrong. they have to go last and i entered them with their teams, and for whatever reason that messes up the results. Sorry about that! I would reset them if I could but I don't think I can. And gaverick is correct - bonuses are players with 290+ HR for a single team

Surprised that Schmidt is the least guessed, maybe thats just because im a Phillies fan but 500+ Career Home Runs.

and @rk: I thought about adding number of home runs, but I was afraid it would give too many of them away. Also the info wasn't readily available from my source so it would have been a moderate amount of extra research and well...I'm pretty lazy.

Well it's up to you, but it could only give away a few, and those few are probably the most guessed anyway. If you change your mind: http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/ATL/bat.shtml, sort by HR.

I got 8 out of the 10 least guessed but missed Hank Aaron, and Jim Rice, who I'm named after.

Braves fan here. Feels good that we're tied with the Yanks for most 300 HR guys (5). Stings that we have more of those than WS titles (3).

Good quiz. It'll be intersting to see if this number grows at a higher pace iin the future due to guys hitting more home runs or slows down due to free agency.

Jay Buhner was a good power hitter for a decade. What's shocking about him being on this list?

Of course none of my Mets are on this list. Strawberry only had 252 and Piazza 220. Highest active player is David Wright with 154 so he's got a long way to go.

Yeah, the Angels and Mets are the oldest teams with no one on this list, going on 50 years old now. Out of the 16 teams that existed in 1901, the Phillies didn't join the club until Schmidt in the 80s, while the White Sox and Indians took about 100 years until Thomas and Thome finally hit the mark. Padres, Brewers, and Expos/Nationals are all at 40+ years and counting.

What the hell did you trade Jay Buhner for?! He had 30 home runs, over 100 RBIs last year! He's got a rocket for an arm... You don't know what the hell you're doing!

it might help to add an asterisk for active player or active player but different team now.

^ I thought about it, but I didn't for two reasons. One, it would make it way too easy, and two, usually you add an asterisk for active players if the figure given might change - i.e., if I had also provided the HR total, I'd probably use an asterisk because it could change any day, but since it is a milestone that you can't go below, the info is good forever.

In any baseball quiz, regardless of the criteria, always always always guess Mel Ott.
