Sep 25th, 2012 at 15:07 GMT
great quiz, frustrated that i just ran out of time though. I don't really think the time limit should matter at all on this one tough, the fun is in figuring them all out.

Reaaaaaally hate being that guy, but in the context of the movie dialogue, he says *A* Dark Knight, so therefore not the literal title.
Sep 27th, 2012 at 16:16 GMT
Well... whatever I'm keeping it
Sep 27th, 2012 at 22:51 GMT
I had the title and the titular line in Out of Africa.
Sep 28th, 2012 at 02:09 GMT
Also, it should be, "Forget it, Jake, it's Chinatown." With an apostrophe.
Sep 30th, 2012 at 04:32 GMT
The only way for me to solve this crisis is to be Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
Oct 1st, 2012 at 00:45 GMT
@ quizbrotha: "Oh so that's where it comes from".
Oct 1st, 2012 at 16:50 GMT
To give everyone a head's up, I'm planning on expanding the quiz; adding more quotes as there are more that people know and are not on here.
Oct 2nd, 2012 at 04:41 GMT
@ladyj1131 is correct, though I think she meant comma not apostrophe. There should be a comma between it and Jake. Also, some print it as two sentences (i.e. Forget it, Jake. It's Chinatown.). Very nice quiz all the same.

Just one quick thing. When alphabetizing, the word "the" at the beginning of a title is not counted in alphabetical order. For example, you should have "101 Dalmatians, The Avengers, The Aviator, Back to the Future...". Just makes it a little easier to find the titles and cuts down on time.
Oct 4th, 2012 at 22:56 GMT
It's actually "With songs they have sung for a thousand years."
Game published: Oct 6th, 2012 at 04:00 GMT
Oct 6th, 2012 at 04:19 GMT
you have "the" stated in the quote for "the green mile" so that the quote would read "we called ours the THE green mile, because..."- the word "the" is repeated
Oct 6th, 2012 at 05:05 GMT
I cry minor foul with two quotes that go "I am ____." If the short one comes first, it could be either movie. When the longer "Blah blah ... I am____" quote came up, it was clear which movie it was. Too late for me, however. But the shorter one... not fair. My guess is that that movie could also use the phrase (uttered by Tony Curtis, sounding like a displaced New Yorker in an ancient Greek bath) "I love you, ___." That was part of the early 90's re-mastering and not in the original.

Surprised so many people missed Eternal Sunshine. There was a poem and it was the only one that rhymed.
Oct 6th, 2012 at 10:51 GMT
I guess you've just gotta find something you love to do and then do it for the rest of your life. For me, it's going to Jurassic Park.
Oct 6th, 2012 at 13:02 GMT
I totally agree with @Bobman. "I am Iron Man" should be a perfectly valid answer.
Oct 6th, 2012 at 13:27 GMT
Considering I saw Rushmore only a few days ago, I'm surprised I missed it.
Oct 6th, 2012 at 15:36 GMT
@Bobman1: I AM THE LORAX!!!
Oct 6th, 2012 at 16:09 GMT
Last quote of the movie IRON MAN is "I am Iron Man."
Oct 6th, 2012 at 16:28 GMT
Hey guys, good call on the Iron Man mix up. Tweaked the Spartacus quote to be specific to the movie, so each clue should be unique enough to distinguish now.
Oct 6th, 2012 at 17:58 GMT
Also, Commissioner Gordon says "...A Dark Knight" not "...The Dark Knight".
Oct 6th, 2012 at 20:30 GMT
Does my supreme nerd-itry show if I got Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind purely based on counting the iambic pentameter?
Oct 7th, 2012 at 01:29 GMT
