1. What's your source? 2. You need to define 'city'. Is it a settlement with +50,000 population? 3. Whatever your deifnition, what about Middlesboro, Ipswich and Blackburn to name a few. 4. If you're basing this on the traditional definition of a city, i.e. somewhere with a Cathedral, you need to say so.

Boring - there are many other attempts at this quiz on sporcle - you should check out if you are repeating others contributions

The definition of a city in England would be a place in England that's allowed to call itself a city. I don't know what other definition you would need - it's certainly nothing to do with population size. I tried Ipswich myself but it's not a right answer.

Sorry folks for the ambiguity. These are the official cities of England with a UK city charter (as granted by the monarch). I have amended the heading after your feedback. This is my first attempt at a quiz creation. Sorry if I'm repeating previous efforts. I'm not trying to steal anyone's thunder!

Can't help but laugh at these idiots who are calling the quiz boring. If they find doing a quiz on English Cities boring then why the devil have they clicked on this quiz and attempted to do it? Eejits.
