Good quiz! Les Nessman is a bit obscure, isn't it?

Great quiz, though you obviously have to do some pretty serious bending and twisting to make it all work together. Using the name of a secondary character on a show that went off the air 15 years ago leaps to mind.

@jism: US female singer, probably more famous for her singles than her albums. She had a string of top 10s in the late 80s and one number 1 ("Love Will Lead You Back").@dawgdad: Great quiz.

Awesome quiz, very clever, definitely never thought I'd see Taylor Dayne on a quiz, talk about a blast from the past, also apparently there is no one named Urban the Grouch

@halophex - I'd guess that the "secondary character" comment is a reference to Wayne Arnold from The Wonder Years.

Thx, fidello, that is exactly what I meant. Though I am surprised to learn that if I had characterized George Costanza as anything other than a lead, that would make me a jerk.

I missed the Oscar Mayer one because I knew that the brand is spelled "Mayer", so that's how I typed it in. When it didn't accept it I figured that wasn't what you were looking for. Please accept Mayer as an alternative answer.

Dayne Beams is an Australian football player evidently. This didn't help me any more than Taylor "I spell my last name weird just to frustrate sporclers" Dayne.

Yeah, when you've never heard of the two of the three Daynes, this becomes a very hard puzzle to finish. And Taylor Dayne, while a good singer, is not the first Taylor who comes to mind. :-)

As an avid golf fan, I rejoiced in the Davis Love III inclusion, yet managed to miss Arnold Palmer. If that's not the sign of a good sporcle, nothing is.

I don't get it, what makes them a "ladder"? I thought it'd be a ladder like the daily Word Ladder quiz.

@mhaymo I didn't get it at first either but thy're kinda like overlapping circles. For example, the names in ladder 1 are Steve Martin, Martin Lawrence, Lawrence Taylor, Taylor Dayne.

Wow, thanks for my first publish Sporcle. Since I added it over 8 months ago, it goes to show it's never too late to be published! Btw, I do not recall the Taylor Dayne clue so I think that was an admin change? Can't wait to tell my kids I got published but they will be very disappointed that Urban Meyer made it into a quiz from their "dawgdad".
