this is a great quiz but you just have to remember that not everyone has umlauts on their keyboard (or know the settings to use german keys on a qwerty keyboard)

I tried to make sure that ae,oe,ue,ss work for ä,ö,ü,ß. Please tell me where it's not working and I change it.

Actually, Kyrgyzstan is mostly called Kirgisistan, which is what Wikipedia lists. Kirgistan is also used, but less common.

You could probably accept "Die Vereinigten Stadten" for USA. Although that may not be how it's spelled...

Pronouncing the letter "j" like the English letter "y" sure makes lots of spellings awkward, when you have to write the sound "dsch". But "Kirgisistan" sure makes more sense than "Kyrgyzstan" LOL
