  • Name the largest place (SEE NOTES) in each US county using the Google Maps Flash quiz. When done, enter the yellow codes received into the Sporcle quiz.
  • NOTES: **ONLY ONE SPELLING PER PLACE ACCEPTED** so "Saint" and "Fort" are always "St" and "Fort"...Cities, towns, village, boroughs included. Includes independent cities, consolidated city-counties and county equivalents in AK and LA. Townships only included for NJ as they are completely equivalent to cities/towns there. NY towns not included due to differing status from towns in other states. Charter townships included for MI. CDP's included just for Hawaii. Some counties have no markers as they only have unincorporated places in them. Markers are coded based on population levels on bottom right. Moving the mouse over an unguessed marker will show the county, state and pop. Moving it over a guessed one will show the city, county and pop. Codes are given for total places, states completed, and places in certain population ranges. ZOOMING TIP: Hold the SHIFT key while using the wheel to prevent page from scrolling. QUIZ MAY TAKE A FEW MOMENTS TO LOAD AND SCROLL/ZOOM SLOWER ON SLOWER COMPUTERS (Zooming in will make it scroll faster).
