You have 15 min or 10K miles to drive the 48 states trying to total the highest total population of 50K+ cities visited. When done, enter codes for Sporcle quiz and name for high scores. SEE NOTES.
NOTES - **READ NAMING NOTES AT BOTTOM** HOW THIS WORKS: Enter any 50K+ US city to begin. A marker will be placed there. Next, enter a (hopefully) nearby 50K+ city. The Google Maps route and next city will be displayed, and the population counter will accumulate. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE ROUTE TO DISPLAY BEFORE ENTERING THE NEXT CITY - could take a second or two. Continue 'visiting' more cities trying to get the highest population before reaching 10K miles. Once you enter a city that pushes the total distance over 10K miles, the game will end and codes will be displayed (up to two, above the pop counter, depending on how well you did), which you can enter in the Sporcle quiz. You can also enter your name then for the high scores. Distances are based on Google Maps navigation's primary route, which I assume takes into account types of road and distances (but I don't believe traffic in this case). You can simply enter some far away cities to go over 10K and end the quiz at any time. Yes I know on this zoom level a couple city labels are displayed. Zooming is disabled preventing seeing more labels. NAMING NOTES - A handful of cities have the same names or must be entered to enter a longer city name...enter the city name followed by state abbreviation for these (i.e. 'springfieldmo' or 'wichitaks' (due to Wichita Falls, TX)). Therefore if a city isn't working add the state abbr to the end of it, as it has one of these conflicts. If scores do not load try reloading quiz as score server may be down. Scores not loading may affect your ability to save your score.
