- Using LAST NAMES (EXCEPTIONS - SEE NOTES) and NO PUNCTUATION, name all the people (SEE NOTES) who have been on an SI cover since its inception to 3/11/13. TIME BONUSES available for many categories.
- NOTES: SOY = Sportsman/woman of the year. FULL NAMES may be required for any non-human answer. Name of the most recent cover will show bottom left when you type an answer in. Unanswered items in the table will show Total Covers and Sports for the "All" table, and a "Cover #" (Just the chronological order of the cover during the year, NOT related to SI Issue #, if multiple people have the same Cover # they are on that same cover) and Sport for the tables for each year. Also there are tables by sport which show the Total Covers and Year of First Cover. "All" and Sports Tables are SORTED by TOTAL COVERS first then LAST NAME, Year tables are sorted chronologically. Make sure you have the "Range" box selected to a low range for the Years and Sports tables - some years and sports will have many more than 50 answers. There are a handful of cases when the answer is not a person, i.e. horses or a couple fictional characters. I included people in insets and those in a group of people on the cover provided they are in focus, the group is not too large (ie not a whole team celebrating), or their name is written on the cover (even if part of a large group). Illustrations also included, drivers have been credited if their car is prominent on the cover, and some people who were not primarily known for playing a sport have made covers (if they were on the cover related to a sport they are under that sport's category). A handful of people have a "Misc" sport category, as they aren't related to a single sport in person or on the cover. Includes commemorative and special editions (everything from the source website). Some preview issues for example have different covers for different regions of the country, all people from all covers are included under the same issue number in the table. This will cause discrepancies with other sources listing how many times someone is on the cover due to how I counted. Also some categories such as Swimsuit may be more difficult to complete considering inset photos are being included, so keep that in mind.
