RULES: You start with only 3 minutes. A team abbreviation will appear initially - name the highest paid player in 2012 (based on SALARY not CAP HIT - player NOT NECESSARILY playing currently for that team) from that team you can, then the team will change after an answer and you do the same for the next team that shows up. You get 5 SECONDS EXTRA TIME each time you extend the top players in a row for each team you complete. When you name the highest paid player for a team you will get 5 seconds, when you complete the top 2 you get 5 seconds, etc. The bottom left grid shows the top N players you have for that team..i.e. if there's a "4" you have the top 4 players. After every answer for a team the quiz will choose a team at random (COULD be the same team) and the players and salaries for unanswered ones will display. Typing "next" will choose a new random (possibly same) team if you are stumped, with a 15 sec penalty. IF TWO PLAYERS have the same last name in that team, you will ONLY have the one with the higher salary answered for your guess. If two players have the SAME SALARY they are sorted alphabetically by last name. You have to move very fast at first to get the top players, so you can start getting more bonus time to think about the tougher ones. Teams are chosen at random based on how many players are left, so teams with more players unanswered have a slightly higher chance of being chosen next. EXAMPLE: let's say you name the 2nd highest paid player for a team your first turn on it...you get NO bonus time. Second time on it you get the top player - you then get 5 bonus seconds. If you had gotten the top player first and then the 2nd player you would have gotten 10 (5 + 5) total seconds of bonus time. YOU MUST THINK VERY QUICKLY AT FIRST, and know your team salary leaders..that is the goal of this quiz.
