| @inomu: What a tough life you have! Seeing Swedish names of cities where Swedish speakers live! I bet you call Mariehamn 'Maarianhamina', Stockholm 'Tukholma', Berlin 'Berliini', Cape Town 'Kapkaupunki' and St Petersburg 'Pietari', although Finnish is not an official language in any of these places and the percentage of native Finnish speakers is most probably lower than the percentage of native Swedish speakers in Espoo and Vantaa. Imagine someone from Ahvenanmaa/Åland, Sweden, Germany, South Africa or Russia looks at a Finnish map and has to see their Finnish names! Argh!!! |
