| I think if you include Estes (who was truly awful that year) you ought to include all the other guys who contributed but for one reason or another weren't around by the playoffs. Corey Patterson is the biggest example. He had his one good year - in typical CPat fashion, he only had half a year of good year in him - injury was probably for the best. Bellhorn (traded), Jose Hernandez (acquired for Bellhorn, then traded), Bobby Hill (traded), Lenny Harris (cut?), Hee Seop Choi (injured in the Roger Clemens/Kerry Wood game, career basically ended), and on and on. |
