Actually, in Michigan, the latitude range in Michigan is more like 45º24' to 42º30' and the distance is more like 200 to 205 miles.

@BoomRShine: I took only the latitude ranges and distances on land, not including the Great Lakes. Probably a note should have been added to clarify that.
